Students joined the climate change event in York

Students from SFX joined others at the one-day event, Don’t Just Pray, Do Something for God’s Sake in York.
Listening to guest speakers Sister Margaret Atkins (Laudato Si’ and Catholic Social Teaching) and Glen Melvin (Reducing Our Carbon Footprint – How we can make a difference) students were able to contribute to the climate change emergency discussion. Sharing how our school have responded to the issue as well as hearing from other community groups our students, school chaplain and curriculum leader for RE all got involved and will continue to support similar events.
