Being a small school, all of our children are known and cared for as individuals. All adult members of the school community have high expectations of students with respect to their achievement and their behaviour. All adult members of our school community are also concerned about the well being of all our young people.

In order to ensure that we can fully support all our pupils, whatever their needs, the school works in partnership with many other agencies that offer support to young people and their families at times when they may be struggling to cope alone. Some of the main agencies we work with are:

  • The Healthy Child Team for Richmondshire - provide support, advice and intervention for  young people and children with their  health and wellbeing. The team consists of Sara Pringle who is the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) for Richmondshire, Michele Pearson and Carol Thompson are the Healthy Child Nurses and  Kirsty Hugill and Kerry Storey  are the team’s Assistant Practitioners; Helen Mcnaught is our screening technician. The contact details for the Healthy Child Team are: telephone: 01609 534298 or we can be contacted by  email –hhc-tr.5-admin@nhs.net

  • Young carers - Vicky Stapylton - victoria.stapylton@hrcarers.org.uk
