Admissions

As a school overseen by the local Council and the Ripon and Middlesbrough Diocese the admissions system is tailored to the unique nature of the school and its ethos, as detailed in our admissions policy.

Please read important information regarding Home to School Transport before making your application.

To apply for a place a St Francis Xavier School follow this step by step guide:

  1. Apply through North Yorkshire County Council. The easiest way to do this is on their website at www.northyorks.gov.uk
  2. Then you must also apply directly to St Francis Xavier School by completing four school admissions forms.
    Admissions Policy
    Supplementary Admissions Form
  3. The forms, once completed will include statements from your Priest or Minister and should be accompanied by a copy of the prospective pupil's baptism/christening certificate.
  4. All documents should be returned by hand or by post. Please mark them for the attention of J. Holt, Headteacher's PA with the heading "Admission documents".
